Symptoms of gastric flu

Symptoms of Gastric Flu

The inflammation of the digestive tract or more precisely the gastrointestinal tract is called Gastric flu. The medical term used to refer to this situation is gastroenteritis. The other common names used that refer to gastric flu are stomach flu, stomach virus, winter diarrhea and even rotavirus gastroenteritis.

Stomach flu is caused by viral infection. The viruses usually responsible for stomach flu are rotavirus, calcivirus, adenovirus and astrovirus. Sometimes, small round-structured viruses (SRSVs) are also responsible for causing the flu. These viruses, most of the times, find a way inside the human body via the mouth. Eating contaminated food and a poor sanitation could also facilitate the entry of the virus into the body.

The gastric flu affects the intestines and the stomach. It is reported to cause more than 6 million deaths every year throughout the world. Children under 5 years are the easiest targets for the flu.

Symptoms of gastric flu include Diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, muscle ache etc. Consistent loose stool and a persistent fever are also the common symptoms of gastric flu. Exhaustion, stomach cramps, and weakness are also visible symptoms of gastric flu..

One of the major symptoms of gastric flu is dehydration. Diarrhea causes a person suffering from gastric flu to loose a considerable amount of fluid from his/her body. And this could cause severe dehydration. Dry and sticky mucous in the mouth could further complicate the problem. If dehydration persists for a long time it could even be fatal.

The symptoms of gastric flu can usually last for a period of 3 to five days. But if you have a reduced immunity it could last longer. The resistance capability of the human body plays a vital role to determine how long the virus harms the host.

Blood in the vomit and stool are the severe symptoms of gastric flu. In case this is something you or your near ones are experiencing, you should seek medical attention immediately. Get to your nearest hospital or just pay a visit to your physician to get some medical testing done.

Precaution is always better than curing the gastric symptoms. Proper sanitation, hygienic food and plenty of water intakes could help prevent you from being infected with gastric flu.

Role of Detox Kits in Getting Marijuana out of System

Posted by aaqionprojects in September 1, 2009

Marijuana tends to stay in the human system for days, weeks and even months thus creating a possibility for you to fail in a drug test even if you have consumed the drug only once. THC, which is a metabolite of marijuana tends to stay in the system for a relatively longer period of time and is fat soluble. The metabolite gets stored in the fat cells and is burnt and released into the blood stream in phases after which, it is flushed out via the urine.

Natural marijuana detoxification takes a very long period and can pose as a very big risk when you appear for drug testing.

How to Pass a Marijuana Drug Test?

If you are researching detox websites to answer your inner thoughts on ‘I need tips on how to pass a marijuana drug test’, you can relax because there are effective marijuana detox products that can eject the toxic content present in the human body within hours. Generally the weed detox products perform a comprehensive cleansing of the hair, blood and the urine. Made out of herbal and natural ingredients, these detox drinks or pills are made up of nutrients and vitamins and offer powerful results almost instantly within a couple of hours.

Marijuana detox drinks can be taken a couple of hours preceding the drug test. After this, you are usually mandated to drink huge amounts of water. The cleansing drink helps in burning the fat tissues that contain THC while the water expedites the flushing of urine containing THC out of the body within hours. Ensure that you urinate frequently after taking the instant marijuana detox tablets/pills/drinks.

The marijuana detox kits are especially used to pass a drug test when you don’t have time to perform a natural body cleansing. The best part of these products is the fact that they clean up your system quickly and effectively with ease. If you are really ambiguous about the performance of the detox kits and doubt whether you would really pass a drug test, you can go ahead and purchase home drug detection kits that can admonish you about the possible toxin contained in your body well before you appear for the drug test thereby allowing you to prepare, re-cleanse and pass drug test.

Marijuana Urine Drug Test

Posted by aaqionprojects in August 23, 2009

You must know: Detox Drinks | Marajuana | Bronchitus

Drug testing has been enforced for at least 2 decades in many companies to determine whether business’s employees are on drugs. The most commonly used drugs determined by drug testing are cannabinoids, cocaine, opiates, amphetamines and others.

There are different types of drug tests administered these days. Most usually, urine, saliva, hair samples are gathered and examined in a clinical laboratory. Drug screening can be also done on-site, which saves a lot of company’s money and is a lot convenient for employees.

Thus, one of the most usually run on-site drug test is the saliva test. It is cheap. The company wastes around $1.00 per test. Besides, it is less embarrassing for employees compared to gathering urine samples. Furthermore, saliva tests are fast. So, the results get ready in a few minutes. Also, these drug tests are more difficult to adulterate than urine tests, because samples are collected under direct supervision. Though being donor friendly, non-invasive and very easy to run, oral fluid drug tests are suitable for determining very recent drug use. More than 6 types of drugs can be detected in this way.

Another method of drug screening is examination of urine samples. Approximately ten types of drugs can be detected by means of urine drug tests. There are three forms of a urine drug test: dip form, cassette form and cup form. The employee’s urine is collected into a specially made secure cup and sealed with a tamper-resistant tape. After that the cup is sent by express delivery service to a testing lab where it is checked for the presence or absence of drugs or their metabolized traces.

Hair testing is regarded to be veyr reliable and can determine drug use as far back as 90 days. Since hair grows out, any drugs used are encased in the hair shaft. Longer hair can reveal an individual’s drug history spanning a longer period than shorter hair. Human hair grows, on average, 0,5 inches a month. Testing laboratories commonly demand about 0,5 – 1,5 inches for examination. This represents about 30 – 90 days of drug use.

Spray drug tests are especially simple to run. They are very accurate and difficult to adulterate as well. But the range of drugs determined by means of a spray drug test is limited.

Although many employees and privacy advocates find drug tests a brutal invasion of privacy and violation of one’s rights and freedoms, drug tests are nevertheless run by employers, because drug abuse is frequently the cause for absenteeism, health problems and on-the-job accidents.

Asthmatic bronchitis

BRONCHITIS is a respiratory disease. It is an inflammation of bronchial tubes, or air passages, characterized by cough, hacking cough, difficulty in breathing and mucus.

There are 2 major types of bronchitis: ACUTE and CHRONIC. Acute bronchitis is a common illness which typically lasts for a short period & is caused by influenza, the common cold, or an infection. Hence, this type of bronchitis is highly infectious & is transmissible by means of cough, sneeze and merely by touching things that have been touched by an infected person.

The other type of the disease is chronic bronchitis. Unlike acute bronchitis, it lasts for a longer period of time. Its symptoms are similar to those of acute bronchitic: cough & wheeze. However, its causes differ significantly. Chronic bronchitis is typically caused by smoking, second hand smoke, a virus etc. In general, it is not contagious. Still, it not less annoying.

Although the causes are different, the two types have much in common. Both of them are resistant to antibiotics. A virus causes bronchitis, and virus infections do not respond to the germ-killing properties of these powerful medications. They are effective against bacterial infections (such as strep throat and bladder infections). Antibiotics can also cause complications, for example diarrhea & yeast infections. More than that, they can undermine your immune system. So, antibiotics may cause more harm than good if they are not used in the right way.

Whatever type of bronchitis you have, it starts with hacking cough & gradually turns into expectoration accompanied by fever, headaches & tiredness.

As long as you have the above mentioned conditions, your acute bronchitis is deemed to be infectious. It you have had this disease for more than half a year, you should make an appointment with your GP to get examined for other health problems.

The spread of bronchitis can be avoided. A sick person should wash hands regularly & cover the mouth when coughing and sneezing.

The best treatment for bronchitis is herbal remedies. They will not hurt your immune system and health as antibiotics can do & aim at the root causes. Herbal remedies are effective against both acute & chronic bronchitis.

Anyway, it is better to avoid a disease than treat it.
